7.3.2 Link secon
Once the source is dened, a summary of your rate sengs will be displayed under the tab STATUS.
Conguring the rate to follow a framelock input will lock the output frame rate to match the
selected source. This is useful to eliminate the “strobing eectwhich may be visible as an arfact of the
framelocking process. However, be sure that your framelock reference input is a reliable source, as any
disrupons in the reference signal may cause visible glitches on your output, even if the selected framelock
reference input is not currently being displayed.
The Outputs secon denes if you will be using any of the outputs in Dual Link or 4k modes, or if you will be
reassigning the layer resources of one output to another. To acvate a Dual Link output, drag the adjacent
resources onto output 1 or 3, then check the Dual Link opon box.
Dual-Link resoluons (ie: 2560x1600) are only available on the DVI plug on outputs #1 & #3 as they use
resources from both outputs. You will lose the outputs #2 & #4 by acvang the output #1 or #3 as a Dual-
Link output.
The link secon is where the addive modularity is set. This feature is only available for 4U LiveCore™ units.
The device can be run in Single Device (standalone) or as a pair with another device by linking them. Use
the Guideline buon in the upper right of the page to display a diagram of how to connect the two devices.
Please see chapter: 10. Assembling and devices coupling.
